Southern State Community College is committed to providing education and training solutions to workers in our area who
have been displaced or are facing potential displacement. Our immediate concern is for the well-being of the individuals and families directly impacted by a job loss. We pledge to continue to provide the quality services we have provided in the past while being particularly sensitive to your needs during this time of uncertainty.
We are working to create an online resource that speaks directly to the needs of those seeking education whether it is a
GED, retraining, or college credit leading to a certificate or degree. Many of these resources are currently available through
general browsing of our website, however; this page organizes those
resources in a more user friendly format.
Regarding the Wilmington Airparek Crisis in particular, we will continue to monitor the situation to determine what needs arise and how we can address them.
The column to the right identifies some general directions and
provides a link to specific contact
people that have been trained to assist students and potential
students during this unusual circumstance. We will update the
web page as appropriate so please check back often.
