The Southern State Community College Career
Services Department promotes the individual professional development
of every student and encourages an understanding of career
development and continuous learning as lifelong processes. We are
committed to supporting the students, faculty, and community by
providing experiences and activities that will increase their
awareness of the essential skills and behaviors necessary for career
success.
The Career Services Department coordinates
career development and employment services for Southern State
Community College. We offer students and alumni assistance in
clarifying educations or career goals, exploring educational
options, and acquiring job search skills. From the beginning of your
college career, through graduation, and beyond, the Career Services
Department is here to help you succeed.

any time during their SSCC experience.

students should register with the Career Services Department three
to four months prior to graduating in order to effectively utilize
the Department's resources.

Career Services Department in order to utilize the Department's
resources.
