New Student Orientation

2023 Sunmmer OrientationNew Student Orientation is the best way to start your college career off right! New students are expected to participate in the mandatory orientation that will be offered in-person or online.

You must be registered for classes to participate in the new student orientation. If you need to register for classes or make changes to your current schedule please contact the Advising Center at 1.800.628.7722, Ext. 2825 to schedule an appointment. We're excited that you will be attending Southern State and look forward to seeing you on campus. If you haw already registered for classes, then your next step is to visit campus for New Student Orientation. You must register for orientation using the Summer 2024 Orientation Registration Form.

Summer 2024 Orientation Schedule:

  • Central Campus (Hillsboro) | May 13, 2024 | 5:30pm - 8pm
  • Brown County Campus (Mt. Orab) | May 15, 2024 | 5:30pm - 8pm

You only need to choose one session of orientation, At orientation, you will have the opportunity to meet some of our great staff and your future classmates! Check in begins 30 minutes before your session!

How to Login

Your login credentials are the same as you use to login to your MyRecords, MyMail, and MyCanvas accounts.

Log in at: myrecords.sscc.edu

  • User Name: Full email address – first initial of first name + last name + @live.sscc.edu (example: jdoe@live.sscc.edu)
  • Default Password: SScc + last 4 digits of your Student ID number which is on the back of your Student ID card. If you have already changed your password please use that password.
